epoch.pet’s Facebook Group, Canine Play, Fitness & Nutrition.

Hey, fellow pet lovers!

Today’s post is all about our new Facebook group which I went live with a few weeks ago so if you have a canine companion and haven’t joined yet then you definitely should. In today’s short and simple yet informative post I want to tell you what Canine Play, Fitness & Nutrition is all about and why you should join?

Let’s jump straight into today’s post!

Canine Play, Fitness & Nutrition

It’s taken me forever to go live with our Facebook group and I wish I’d managed to get round to sorting it earlier in the year, however, I’ve thankfully managed to get it up and running due to decreasing our blog posts to one a week. I initially thought about having a group for both dog and cat owners but decided it would be better if I created two separate groups, so stick around for our Feline Play, Fitness and Nutrition group which will be heading your way in the next few months.

What is Canine Play, Fitness & Nutrition all about?

Our new Facebook group Canine Play, Fitness and Nutrition is all about the shared love we all have for our companion animals and our dedication as pet owners to try and provide them with the best life possible. I wanted to create a group where people share helpful tips and tricks on how they try to provide their pets with a happy and healthy lifestyle, with the hopes that this will help fellow pet owners do the same.

As most of you will already know I have two canine companions myself, Nia a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who will be turning five in November, and little Lily a Border Terrier who will be turning four. I also have Romeo the Rottie who I love dearly despite him not being my own. My four-legged friends are all so important to me, they are a massive reason behind epoch.pet as well as everything I do. I’m sure you all feel the same way about your pooches and the point of epoch.pet’s new Facebook group is to create a community of pet owners who all want the best for their canines.

I’ve been slacking a bit in terms of social posts and blog maintenance lately as I’ve simply been too busy but I’m really hoping with our new Facebook group that epoch.pet will continue to grow as we increase our supportive community of pet parents.

Canine Play

Canine Play is all about improving the time we spend playing with our pets, I love playing with Lily and Nia and some of you might remember one of my previous posts that mentions my favourite thing about having a canine companion, which is? The fact that they help you live in the present moment and if you haven’t checked it out then head over there after reading today’s post.

I hope that members of the group will help pet owners find new and exciting ways to have fun with their pets and in turn help us spend more quality time playing. A few of my favourite fun things to do with the girls is going to the park and playing with the Flirt Pole or simply hiding treats and toys around the flat for them to sniff out. There are so many fun things to do with your pooch and by sharing tips, tricks as well as your pets favourite toys we can all help each other to have more fun with our four-legged friends and enjoy life to the full.

Canine Fitness

Canine Fitness is an essential component for ensuring your pet lives a happy and healthy life with many years by your side. By getting our members to post about how they keep their pets fit and healthy it helps other pet owners do the same. We have weight vests for our girls and take them on plenty of fun-filled trips to the park and lovely long walks along the coast every week.

One of the best investments we ever made was buying Nia and Lily their Xdog Weight and Fitness Vests as they really love them, they look stylish and they keep them both fit and healthy. If you would like to learn more about the Xdog Vest simply follow the link to our blog post. As well as wearing their awesome vest a few days each week, the girls do sprits, jumping and resistance training with a parachute to help them stay fit and healthy.

Canine Nutrition

Canine Nutrition is another essential component for ensuring your pet lives a long and happy life. It is also something that a lot of pet owners seem to struggle with, what should I feed my pet, is this the best diet and so on? All my girls including our cat Pooss are fed an all natural diet and they have done since we brought them home. In our group, I hope to inform pet owners about natural diet options such as BARF or Prey Model Raw methods of raw feeding. As well as discussing various high-quality food options on the market, as raw diets aren’t always suitable for all pets.

My main aim is to create a group where pet owners are all striving to give their pets the best life possible, where everyone is willing to help support each other to reach this shared common goal. A group where dog owners and lovers worldwide can come together to share knowledgable information about their pets play, fitness and nutrition with the hopes that it will benefit every member’s canine companion.

If you’re a frequent visitor to epoch.pet then you will already know that we have plenty of raw feeding friendly treat recipes on the blog which we’ll also share in our new group. However, if your new and want to make your canine their very own batch of homemade treats right away then here are a few of my girl’s favourites.
