Squishy Face Flirt Pole, product review.

Hey, fellow pet lovers!

Today’s post is a short product review of one of the coolest and most fun pet products currently on the market. We got Lily the Squishy Face Flirt Pole for her birthday earlier this month and If you haven’t checked out my previous post Nia and Lily the Birthday Girls then head over there after reading this to check it out.

Let’s jump straight in and learn all about the Squishy Face Flit Pole!

Squishy Face Flirt Pole

Squishy Face Studios is a great company that produces durable toys and accessories for strong and active canines. This company is an American business based in Florida, it’s family owned and run by Justin and Jessica Lohmann and was founded in 2009.

Their products are made to provide both physical and mental stimulation for our canine companions and their goal is to keep dogs happy and healthy all around the world. All their products are made in the USA and they pride themselves on the quality of their great pet products.

If you have read my girls birthday post then you will already know that Nia and Lily’s birthdays are just a day apart, Nia turned four on the 10th of November and Lily turned three just a day after on Remembrance Sunday. What I and my partner decided to do was choose one big gift for one of the girls and I picked the Squishy Face Flirt Pole for Lily and my partner choose a set of PULLER rings for Nia, which she absolutely loves!!

Happy NiaStick around for a product review of the PULLER rings heading your way very soon!

What I love about the Squishy Face Flirt Pole?

This is the Squishy Face Flirt Pole and it is one of the best things we have ever got the girls apart from their Xdog Weight and Fitness Vests. The first time we took it to the park, Lily just started chasing it like crazy and I knew it was going to be a much-loved addition to the countless amount of toys they currently have.

There are so many great things about this fun and interactive dog toy and I honestly cannot believe it has taken us so long to get one!!

  • The Squishy Face Flirt Pole is a perfect way to exercise your pet with little effort needed on your behalf.

One of the best things about this flirt pole is how much it tires my girls out, especially Lily and how little effort we have to put in. All you need to do is swing your arm left to right or in a full circle and let your pooch do all the hard work and chase after the lure.

  • As well as providing your pet with physical exercise you are also working on their impulse control at the same time.

Lily leave it!!

Something Lily struggles with is leaving her ball or the lure on the flirt pole when she catches it, the first time she managed to catch it that it took us forever to get it out of her mouth but persistence paid off in the end and she gave in.

This flirt pole is really good for working on your pooches impulse control and it’s something Lily is ever so slowly getting better at and hopefully, in the next few months she will give it up the first time when asked.

Remember when your pet catches the lure to let the flirt pole go lose and do not pull back so they think they can tug on it, simply get down to their level and ask them to leave it until they do. Once Lily has left it I get her to sit, look at me and then the fun begins again.

  • The Squishy Face Flirt Pole has been well designed and is a well-made pet product.

When I first opened the box I could tell it was a well-manufactured product and hopefully, we will get a lot of use out of it but time will tell. For the price, I was happy with the overall quality and the handhold is really comfortable to grip.

  • The Squishy Face Flirt Pole is super lightweight.

Squishy Faces Flirt Pole is super lightweight which makes it a great pet product for taking to the park or beach, which are two of my girls favourite places to go in the whole world. The flirt pole itself with the lure only weighs just under one pound.

  • It’s relatively cheap.

The Squishy Face Flirt Pole isn’t the cheapest on the market but it is still fairly priced at just over £30. A few other brands to choose from are Outward Hound’s reasonably priced flirt pole at £13.23 or you have ANG’s Interactive Extendable Flirt Pole which costs £11.33.

I imagine these flirt poles won’t be the same quality as Squishy Face’s but there are many happy pet parents who have left a positive review on these products, so they are definitely worth a try.

  • It comes in two different sizes and you can buy additional lures.

Another great thing about the Squishy Face Flirt Pole is that it comes in two different sizes, you can get the Squishy Face Flirt Pole V2 Orange/Yellow 36 inch which is what we got for the girls. Or you can get a smaller sized Squishy Face Flirt Pole V2 Blue/Aqua 24-Inch.

The larger one is perfect for my girls but if you don’t have a very big garden or a super small pooch then opt for the 24-Inch. What else I love is that you can buy additional lures to attach onto your flirt pole when your lure needs changing, so the fun never stops.

  • Great customer reviews with a rating of 4.7 out of 5.

This flirt pole is great in my opinion and a lot of pet owners seem to also agree that their furry friend loves it. On Amazon, it has plenty of happy customer reviews from pet owners saying that their canine friend loves it, just like my girls do.

  • My girl Lily loves it and I have her full attention when at the park!!

The best thing about the Squishy Face Flirt Pole is that my girls love it!!

Lily seems to love the flirt pole more than Nia, as Nia seems to prefer her PULLER rings.  I honestly couldn’t believe it the other day when we all went to the park and my partner was playing with Nia and I was playing with the flirt pole with Lily.

Now I’m not too sure if I have mentioned Lily and her crazy obsession/love for balls, ever since she was a puppy she has had a tennis ball or one of her favourites, a High Bounce Sports pet ball. So we were in the park and Lily was so tired off chasing after the flirt pole, so she had a little break and I thought she would like to run after her ball like she normally does, so I chucked it and she just looked at me and obviously wanted to play with the flirt pole way more.

Lily likes it even more than she likes chasing after the ball which is a first!!

Lastly, I love that when we are in the park or out and about with the flirt pole I have Lily’s undivided attention and I know she isn’t going to run off as she is solely focused on the flirt pole and having fun.
