Hey, fellow pet lovers!
Welcome to epoch.pet, this is my first ever blog, so be nice!
I’m Katie, 20 years old, and if you haven’t read the About my Blog section, then I suggest heading over, there before reading this post. I just want to talk about why I started this blog briefly and what I hope to achieve.
There are a few different reasons why I decided to start epoch. pet, firstly because I love to write, I have kept a weekly journal for the last few years now and find it so enjoyable.
Secondly, I love my pets!
I have two amazing dogs, Nia my 3-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier and Lily, my 2 and a half-year-old Border terrier. I also have a cat called Pooss, I know a very creative name but when we recused her we decided to change her name to go along with her new start.
They are the main reason behind this blog and I want to share with you their little lives, what they get up to and lots more. Also, I am a huge advocate of raw feeding for our pets and I hope to inform fellow pet owners about this amazing natural feeding method and the benefits it brings to our pets lives.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a massive issue in today’s society, that is for some reason being overlooked and this issue is how unhealthy is the majority of products for our beloved pets on the market today?
The next time you find yourself walking down the aisle in the pet section of your supermarket, just have a look at what is actually inside those yummy treats or your favourite brand of food that your furry friend just cannot get enough of and I promise you it won’t be what you thought!
The majority of canned and dried pet food (kibble), alongside overly processed commercial treats, are not a good option for feeding our pets but yet we are told daily that this is not the case. It seems that in today’s money-driven society that many large corporations just care about profit and not what’s best for our family pets.
With this in mind, I hope to inform fellow pet owners all around the world how beneficial a raw food diet is for our pets, by spreading the word about ethical businesses and products that are out there on the market currently. Thankfully, it’s not all doom and gloom and there are some companies paving the way for a more ethical industry, that we all want to see so badly!
I also plan on reviewing a verity of pet products on the blog such as:

Raw feeding products and suppliers

And lastly, various other pet products that I can get my hands on
I want to create a blog where people feel like they are in a community that all shares one thing, never-ending love for our fur babies.
